behind the name
Adrian is the heart & soul behind Onyx Ceramic Coating & Car Detailing.
A Sheet Metal Fabricator for 30 years, never took the interest of cars away, nor his dream of one day owing a Ford Mustang like the one his dad worked on in his Panel Beating shop when he was just 5 years old.
Fast forward to 2021, Adrian finally got his dream and purchased a Black Mustang that is his pride and joy.
This is when his passion for cars shined and his eye for detail to recognise imperfections and always wanting his car to be shiner than the day before and turn heads, really came to light.
In the January of 2022, Adrian’s wife bought a GT Stinger in which they got Ceramic Coated and the job was less than satisfactory and actually had to be redone due to the poor workmanship and quality of the coating & application.
This was the day Onyx Ceramic Coating & Car Detailing was born.
Adrian decided to put his love and passion for turning cars into the show piece they are and commenced training as a Car Detailer and Ceramic Coating Applicator.
Adrian quit his trade and focused everyday into perfecting the art of Car Detailing, Paint Correction, and Ceramic Coating.
He attended a number of recognised training organisations to build his skill level to a standard that would meet the customers demand, but exceed their expectations.
Adrian then continued to focus on the art, and did so by removing the coating on his wife car and competing the reapplication, and then bringing the already show stopper of a Mustang to an even higher standard if that was possible, by completing hours of a Paint Correction and then a detailed Ceramic Coat Application, turning an already beautiful car into a Shiny Black Machine of Glass!
Adrian knows only too well what it’s like to pay a premium price for a premium product and not get what you pay for.
At Onyx Ceramic Coating we are about customer satisfaction, we are about ensuring we educate our customers, letting them know that not only is there in-depth training to gain the certification but also a lot to maintain the certification by ensuring you full fill the supplier requirements on a monthly / quarterly basis.
That is why Adrian is now a Master Applicator who is Certified and Accredited and able to provide both a Product & Applicator Warranty.
Adrian is only one of a handful that is Certified & Accredited for both NV Car Care & IGL Coatings in Brisbane.
Onyx Ceramic Coating is also a family owned business, which at times you may see one of his two daughters as his daily assistant or his wife in the background helping him build his dream and passion. As a family man he also understands that your car is your biggest or second biggest asset to and investment (to your home) and understand the needs and expectation to make that car look the best it did the day you bought it, or like him with the Mustang better than on the day of delivery!
